CDC RELEASES 5 NEW HIV PSA ADS ENCOURAGING GAY MEN TO DISCUSS THEIR HIV STATUS WITH PARTNERS

Just a week after the Center for Disease Control (CDC) publicly announced its support for PrEP, the CDC has released a series of 30-second online public service ads targeting gay men in an effort to encourage discussion about HIV with their partners.

The CDC explains:

Start Talking. Stop HIV., CDC’s national campaign created by and for gay and bisexual men, promotes open communication about HIV prevention among sexual partners and encourages men in all types of relationships to talk about: HIV testing, their HIV status, condom use, and medicines that help prevent and treat HIV.
